romeo e giulietta 1.1

Compagnia Zappalà Danza
Roberto Zappalà revisits his 2006 work and the story of two lovers from Verona. Looking at their love, we feel blurred. When we ourselves are in love, we "perceive" that the distance between us and the world, or us and our beloved, is not quite right. When the distance separating us from our loved one is shaped by our being in the world—and when we are, feel, or believe we are too close or too far—we become Romeo and Juliet.

STIMMUNG & CHOREOGRAPHIC FIGURES

DANCEHAUSpiù
“STIMMUNG” - The performance is a journey that begins with the Japanese meditation practice Kototama and leads to spoken dance. It interprets sounds and the phonetic qualities of voice and spoken language.

“CHOREOGRAPHIC FIGURES” - This duet compares a selection of rhetorical figures used in spoken language with various modes of choreographic composition in dance. Starting from written text, the goal is to construct a personal system for interpreting images, impressions, and emotions.

Scherzetto

Borderline Danza
Three men/characters – Pan, Dionysus, and Satyr – engage in a bawdy interplay of alliances, rivalry, and not always amusing tricks. Through their game, they reveal aspects of life reflected in their forms.

One hundred falls

Ilona Gumowska
Jakub Mędrzycki
Civilizations fall, cultures collapse, authorities crumble. We fall morally, we fall physically. It seems that the entire history of humanity is composed of sudden collapses, such as wars or revolutions, as well as slow and often ignored ones, like the climate crisis. It is difficult to distinguish when a fall is still a tragedy and when it becomes a new opportunity.

Rites of Passage

Mandala Dance Company
A performance inspired by the sacredness of all those moments that mark the phases of existence or articulate the very evolution of an individual in this earthly life, culminating in a transition to a new dimension. The sacred authorization enables the individual to undergo an experience that transforms into a collective one, accompanying a new state of balance and, consequently, rebirth.

Café Müller

Dominik Więcek
„Das ist main Café Müller” the artist speaks, and it becomes clear that the dancer's story and Pina Bausch's performance are inseparably intertwined. Fanfiction. Into the world created in the choreographer's performance, a story is introduced that dialogues with the original, drawing on the biography of the performer, who was born in Iserlohn, Germany, but raised in Poland. For some time now, he has been asking himself: what if his parents had not decided to return to their homeland?

doldrums

Mizuki Taka
In an era when engines did not exist, there were dead zones at sea, inaccessible to humans. Today, we never stop; our times keep moving forward relentlessly. What should we value most in an age when everything flows and progresses inexorably? Progress or regression? To drift or to sink into the abyss?

WE WANT TO BE OURSELVES

Vocalove & Oddaj ciężar
The performative concert “We Want to Be Ourselves” combines popular music in surprising, heavily altered arrangements with a dance and movement illustration based on partnering technique.

Wuthering days

Almada Dance Company
The transfer of emotional states can be a part of our daily lives, and most of the time, we probably don't even realize it. It often happens that people experience anger and transfer this emotional state to those close to them, initiating a chain of rage that can be difficult to stop.

Artemis in the mirror

Compagnie Didier Theron
"Artemis in the Mirror" is a radical piece inspired by the goddess of the hunt. Its radicality lies in a sudden formalism in the pursuit of abandonment and ecstasy. The performance features two dancers, clad in black and white, colliding with the sounds of percussion. Everything is intertwined and seamlessly integrated into a meticulously crafted and inventive structure.

Niemandsland

Compagnie Irene K.
Compagnie Irene K. is a contemporary dance company founded by Irene Kalbusch. The group has developed its own style, which can be associated with contemporary dance theater, close to "Tanztheater." Their choreographies aim to avoid being narrative, instead opening up space in all directions, constantly creating new constellations.

Home Grown Allure

Marta Kosieradzka
“Home Grown Allure” is a performance inspired by the prose of Olga Tokarczuk, her concept of the “tender narrator,” and the way she portrays the multidimensionality of the world in her books. It also draws from her poetic vision of the body as a home—a profoundly intricate space that holds memories, thoughts, and images from the depths of recollection.

Forest

Designare Movement
Nowadays, more and more people share and criticize one another in the virtual space known as SNS (Social Network System). The choreographer aims to compare this place, where information distortion prevails and relationships become difficult and tangled, to a forest.

The Coloured Series: 19-4122 TCX Moonlit Ocean

DNA
The performance tells the story of a journey into the depths of nature and through the textures of matter. In search of the mechanical and physical dynamics that bring order to geological evolutions, the performance takes us from Pangaea to the first constitution of social systems.

Falling up

CoDa Movement
The performance is an attempt to tame someone and establish a bond. A group of people bound by the same rules: gravity and simultaneously suspension in the universe. What will happen between them? Will they pull each other down toward their own ruin, or will they join forces to rise toward what is best for them?
